Ralf Gum feat. Monique Bingham – Kissing Strangers

Categories: Releases. Trackback.
14 February 2008

The date of February 4th was very successful in term of great new releases (I got a long queue of titles to review, so we gotta be quick to keep up). One of them is “Kissing Strangers” from Germany’s GOGO Music and his founder and owner, worldwide respected DJ and producer Ralf Gum. Starting in 1991 his music taste and production skills always stay strong, in 2001 he founded his own GOGO Music and released tons of gorgeous soulful house gems. Taken from his forthcoming (in April 2008) debut full length artist album “Uniting Music” this tune brings solid groove, live instrumentation and flourished by vocal of New York’s Monique Bingham. Being one of the most unique and sophisticated voices to emerge from the NYC deep house scene, she collaborated with numerous projects and artists from Abstract Truth and Studio Apartment to Quentin Harris and Kerri Chandler. By the way she also owns her own label Bigga Sounds and expect her first full-length album to be released in Fall 2008.

The package also features remixes from one of the house music community’s most respected producer/DJ and owner of Ricanstruction label Frankie Feliciano, and Ralf’s big friend having released 2 artist albums at GOGO Phil Kullmann aka Raw Artistic Soul. Both reworks are quite tough ones, though still bringing another life to this wonderful release.
