Welcome to SummerFondue.com – the voice of soulful house music from Russian DJ Soulmate. This is the home of Summer Fondue Sessions radioshow with tracklists and shows archive. I do also post the industry news – quick reviews of new releases and some info on artists, labels, DJs…

This site was launched in February 2008 after almost 2 years of running SummerFondue.ru (aka SoulfulHouse.ru) local web site in Russian. What’s that all about? That’s all about house music. Soulful house. Deep house. Jazzy house. Any house that feeds the soul. SummerFondue.ru was intended to popularize soulful house in my country. Here in Russia we’ve got strong domination of electro, minimal and other techno stuff, people got used to party those ways. But soulful house is on fire throughout the world, and I see no obstacles to evangelize it here as well. This is the music of beautiful people, of friendly parties, the music to stay in one’s heart, and “dance music for adults” (© Ricardo Torres) after all.

On the road to mass soulful injection in Russia I’ve started the bi-weekly radioshow in 2006 that is now distributed among several online stations (ever listened to Russian soulful house DJ? – Now you can). So this .com website is an international version of my original SummerFondue.ru and the radioshow home for foreign audience.

Here’s how these all is organized. This site runs WordPress engine. So it’s kinda blog. Every article is a blog post. Posts’ summaries are listed on the homepage in chronological order. Every summary has “Read more” link that points to full text article. Every post has categories and tags assigned. Categories are like site sections: “Show’s archive“, “Releases” which are pretty much self-explanatory; and tags are for more specific post description, they could be:

• about subject (album, event, artist, label…);
• about style (deep, afro, jazzy, latin, soulful…);
• and about country (usa, uk, france, sweden…).

Both categories and tags are also listed at sidebar to the right on every page so you can navigate quickly. Visitors can comment any post. Name and e-mail (will not be published) are required. You can also subscribe to any post’ comments.
