Summer Fondue

Austrian producer and DJ Lorenzo Al Dino is known for his ‘7th District Inc’ project (along with Sergio Flores), set of awards, Kylie Minogue’s “Spinning Around” hit and residency in Jockey Club on Ibiza. He’s also into lounge music, and was the author of “On The Beach 4″ compilation released recently by Warner Music Austria. In the house scene, we were pleased by brand new “Let Life Shine” featuring Beverley T. released in two parts by one of the Germany’s underground soulful house label TriCircle. Young NY/UK/South Africa label Asante Records run by Roots O’Batala (also the man behind wonderful Global Soul Radio) specializes in deep, soulful, jazz, experimental and spiritually enlightened house music and already delivered some great releases including Jihad Muhammad, Joi Cardwell and Yoshihisa H. US DJ and producer, Grammy nominee, maestro Jay-J is back on his own Shifted Music with a collection of instrumentals named “October Moods“. Featuring ‘October Moods’ with a couple of mixes, and ‘Summer Moods’ this EP still sounds “sexy, soulful, dance floor driven” (as they claim all Jay’s production), though I’d rather highlight October Moods mixes that are driven by live trumpet and feels really live and “playable”. Originally released in January 2008 and being broken house beat bumpy affair, “He Will Be Right There” by H&H Soulsurvivors feat. Cazza is now back with wonderful rework by Camio Rec.’s own Jonny Montana. I’ve adored this guy many times, but he did it once again: smooth keys, sweat bass, fancy synths and general feelgood.
