Uncle Milty/Joshua(IZ) - The Ode to Lillian (Remixes) [Whitebeard Records] Sometimes it’s so wonderful to run across a small label with an outstanding release and discover a new name. Chicago based music producer Uncle Milty and his Whitebeard Records is the current example. New release numbered 5 will be out on February 3rd (consider that first releases are dated 2000). “The Ode to Lillian” is the groovy deep soulful thing with warm melodious keys and… violin as the main theme! Considering me being patriotic now, it’s good having small local artists exposed to the larger house scene. But the tracks are good!
