Phase Deux Musiq Another soul classic from 1980s gets treatment by house masters. Glenn Jones’ “Show Me” was re-worked by Degrees Of Motion and vocalized by Billy Porter. The man behind Degrees Of Motion is Richie Jones who is responsible for loads dance music productions including Jennifer Lopez’ “Waiting For Tonight”.

Vega Records Louie Vega’s Vega Records took a pace of frequent digital releases welcoming new artists to the label (such as Boddhi Satva, Louie Lou Gorbea, Duce Martinez, Fabion Genito etc.). Having loads of material from past times it’s definitely worth to put it up sometimes as compilations of unreleased. On February 2nd label delivered another Vega Records Digital Bundle with 10 tunes of Louie’s style including some nice ones.

Soul Deluxe Switzerland based DJ and producer Stefano Rizzuto aka Steven Stone is in the soulful industry for quite some time. With productions and remixes for such labels as Reelgroove, MoD, Staff Productions, Barcoda, SoulFunk Digital, Hermosa and PINO Music, he has recently put out a debut album “Entering My World”. Taken from it and scheduled to March 31th, “Makes You High” marks the first release on Steven’s own and newly born Soul Deluxe label.

Jellybean Soul Cuban born and New Jersey based multi instrumentalist George Mena has finally put together a collection of his tracks and have it released as promised at Jellybean Soul on January 27th under Mena Keys guise. The album called “A New Day Rising” includes 12 tracks with virtuosic arrangements and loads of live instruments. Must check that out.

Amenti Music A pioneer and living legend of electronic scene in Korea and now worldly recognized artist Oriental Funk Stew started in early 1990s while studying in New York. Being known as DJ Decode at that times, his passion for house music led him to the first EP released by Odds And Ends in 2004, when he changed the name. Soon another two EPs were signed to San Francisco based Amenti Music owned by Olivier Desmet who recognized OFS’s producing talents.
