Vega Records Vega Records is here with a brand new from Louie Vega together with Sara Devine, “That’s What Love Is“. Numbered 72, out in the end of November, featuring members of EoL, this is another great spiritually soulful masterpiece from maestro Vega proved by live instrumentations (Selan on keyboards, Gene Perez on bass etc.) and of course Sara’s blessing vocals.

Sara Devine Sara Devine is from Arkansas, and is the second youngest child in a family of ten kids. Her mother sings in church, and her father is a pastor so Sara was surrounded by music from early ages. While studying, Sara began to think about music career, doing background vocals, singing on commercials, singing in wedding bands. She worked with greats such as Lisa Lisa, Marc Anthony, Anita Baker and Aretha Franklin. Later she became a songwriter and soon had enough material to get noticed and signed to Columbia Records. Debut album “Beautiful” was never released, though many songs from this album is well known and some of them were remixed – for example, “Special” was written for Sara’s five sisters and was remixed by Louie Vega and “Life Ain’t What it Seems” remixed by Quentin Harris.
