French house scene has of course produced authoritative figures like Laurent Garnier and St. Germain, but the new generation is coming out, and Franck Roger is surely among the first ones (not forgetting DJ Deep & DJ Gregory tho). He was discovered at 2004 Miami Music Winter Conference, had releases on well respected labels like Kenlou, Versatile, Needs, BBE etc., released his debut full-length album “We Walk to Dance” at Seasons Recordings in 2006, now running ‘Real Tone Records’ and enjoying support, collaborations and friendship with international scene (esp. SOLE Channel crew – Mr V and Alix Alvarez).

Franck Roger At the end of 2007 Franck launched ‘Franck Roger Digital’ label and has already revealed a few wonderful tracks including fresh remixes for 2004′ “If I” with the vocal of Chris Wonder.

The recent promo from FRD is numbered 6 and is called “Ekobah“. This track was originally released by German Need Music in 2003, and is another jazzy piece of masterly Roger-style instrumentation featuring nice brass and xylophone.
