Pure soul from NY underground! Legendary DJ Spinna’s owns small label Wonderwax that is a slow-motion outfit releasing sparse gems from Spinna and his friends (such as Lady Alama, Selan, The Free Radikalz…) starting 2003. In November 2008, a new item has arrived: “You Should Be Loving Me” is a collaboration between DJ Spinna and LA based soul singer Oversoul7: chilled afro rhythms, mellow synths and vocals… On the remix we’ve got no other than Dennis Ferrer with his deep soulful side. Though first off on a vinyl, I’m glad we can grab it digitally from Traxsource.
