One half of Fuzion duo, New Jersey based George Mena aka Mena Keys is a talented musician, multi instrumentalist and a great sound producer. As a bassist and keyboardist he worked with number of stars (Billy Paul, Grace Jones, Donna Summer…). In 2006 with his partner DJ Franke Estevez they created one of my favourite labels, Fuzion Records that produce great instrumentals. Joi is a producer, singer, composer and arranger from Japan. Being multitalented instrumentalist and owner of beautiful sensual falsetto voice, he was noticed by Joe Claussell in 2000 after releasing debute “Love Is Spiritual” on Japan’s Common Ground. Kenny Carvajal is a producer from Chicago and label founder of his own Habitat Records. In childhood, he was taught to play bass, guitar, drums and percussion by his brother, rock and new wave musician. Kenny started DJing a dozen years ago drawing inspiration from loft and rave parties, soon followed by purchase of drum machines and synths. Now he plays keys, and has number of great pieces on notable record labels such as Phuture Sole, Crash, Camio, Iwanai Music, Smooth Agent (check his tracks in 16th, 28th and 45th Fondues). read more »
