Flower Records was established in 1995 by brothers Eitetsu and Kitetsu Takamiya, and is centered around dance music from domestic Japanese artists. One of them, Japan’s young upcoming producer Kentaro Takizawa has its second album, “Heart to Heart”, released in 2007. Dolls Combers – Floating Vibes EP

Reelgroove Vincent Lacerenza and Manuele Tigani together known as Dolls Combers are based in Milan (Italy). Both are engaged in DJing since 1980s, both are into music production for some years, they met in 2004 sharing their love of house music, and debuted with “Globalizing” album in 2006 on Little Angel (and planning to bring the second one in 2009!). Personally I admire almost all their recent works. Released on October 9th on UK’s Reelgroove, their “Floating Vibes EP” is not an exception. read more »

Movement Soul New Jersey based DJ and producer Jihad Muhammad delivered a new EP on his own Movement Soul on October 29th. A beautifully arranged laid back “Don’t Make Me Beg” with live keys and guitars and the vocal of veteran singer Amira (loving both versions, plying them in my mind these autumn days…), and piano cut “Eternal Keys” just in Jihad’s style. read more »
